今回はGTEC for STUDENTS の Basicタイプ（２番目のレベル）のライティングの解答例です。中３～高１レベルの語彙で１５０字前後で書いてみましょう。

課題：高校生がアルバイトをすることについて、あなたはどう思いますか。身近な事例を含めて、あなた自身の考えを書きなさい。
構成(基本の形）

構成（中３～高１レベル）
150字前後で書いてみましょう。
意見は
「高校生がアルバイトをする事は良い事だと思う｣で作ってみます。
理由とその具体例を２つ考えます。
①お金を稼ぐことができる
具体例）お金は大切。友達のお父さんが体調を崩し、仕事を辞めた。 友達は思いがけずバイトを探すことになり、大変そうだ。将来、何が起こるか分からない。十分お金があれば、心に余裕をもって生きていける。
②様々な人とコミュニケーションをとる良い機会になる
具体例）様々な年齢層の人と意見を交わす練習になる。仕事場で人間関係を築く方法を学べる。
英作文（中３～高１レベル）
※高校生が、この文章を書いているという設定にしています。
なので高校生が主語となる話をしている時、その主語は we としています。

高校生がアルバイトをする事は良い事だと思う
I think that it is a good thing for high school students to do a part-time job.
※アルバイトという単語は英語ではありません。英語では part-time job で表現すると良いでしょう。
②２つの理由がある
このように考えるには２つの理由があります
I have two reasons for feeling this way.
③理由１＋具体例
●バイトをすることによってお金を稼ぐことができる
We can earn money by doing a part-time job.
●安定した生活のためにはお金は大切
Money is important for a stable life.
●友達のお父さんが体調を崩し、仕事を辞めた
My friend's father became sick and quit his job.
● 友達は思いがけずバイトを探すことになり、大変そうだった
The friend had to look for a part-time job unexpectedly and looked upset.
●将来何が起こるかは誰にも分からない
No one knows what will happen in the future.
●もし充分お金があれば、心に余裕を持って生きていける
If we have enough money with us, we can live with room in our mind.
※ room は「余地・余裕｣の意味で使っています。その場合、不可算名詞となります。
④理由２＋具体例
様々な人とコミュニケーションをとる良い機会になる
It is a great opportunity for us to communicate with various people.
様々な年齢層の人と意見を交わす練習になる
We can learn how to exchange opinions with people from different age groups.
仕事場で信頼をおける人間関係を築く方法も学べる
We can also learn how to build harmonious human relationships at work.

I think that it is a good thing for high school students to do a part-time job.
I have two reasons for feeling this way.
The first reason is that we can earn money by doing a part-time job. Money is important for a stable life.My friend's father became sick and quit his job.The friend had to look for a part-time job unexpectedly and looked upset. No one knows what will happen in the future. If we have enough money with us, we can live with room in our mind.
The second reason is that it is a great opportunity for us to communicate with various people. We can learn how to exchange opinions with people from different age groups.
We can also learn how to build harmonious human relationships at work.
These reasons make me think that it is a good thing for high school students to work part -time. （１５１語）
※中学生には難しい単語
earn は make に
unexpectedly は suddenly に
opportunity は chance に
harmonious は good に
してもよし。
「バイトをする｣という表現を do a part-time job と言ったり work part-time と言ったりしています。「様々な人々｣を various people としたり people from different age groups (違った年齢層の人々）と言ったりしています。同じフレーズを繰り返さないのが点数アップのポイントですね。
