【英検二級】最低限のライティング⑤（中学生でも大丈夫）
【お題】小学生の携帯電話の学校への持ち込みについて。
最低限の「文法｣「語句｣で英検二級のライティングの書き方を練習していきましょう。
お題
８０－１００語で述べよ。
Today, many elementary school students have their own celll phones. Do you think they should be allowed to take their cell phones to school?
（沢山の小学生が携帯電話を持っていますが、それを学校に持っていく事を許されるべきだと思いますか？）
※実際のテストではキーワードとなる単語が３つ、例として挙げられていますが、それを使わずに作文をする練習をしていきます。
英検二級では理由が二つ必要です。字数が８０－１００字と長めですので「幹となるもの（理由）｣以外に「枝となるもの（具体的サポート）｣が必須になります。「幹となるもの｣と「枝となるもの｣を混同しないように文を作るのがポイントです。
ブレインストーミング
「認められるべき｣の方で考えてみます。
携帯電話を学校に持っていくことのメリット
・学校の行き帰りが安心
・ 緊急時の連絡手段として持っておいたほうが良い
構成
①意見 小学生が学校に携帯電話を持っていくのを許されるべきである
②理由１ 学校の行き帰りが安心なので持たせるべき。
サポート 帰りが遅ければすぐに連絡が取れる

ちょっと深い話
今回は、反対の意見に譲歩してから、それを打ち消す形で英作文を展開する練習をしてみましょう。
携帯の学校への持ち込みへの反対意見としては
「小学生は、携帯電話を持つにはまだ早い｣
「所有するのは良いが、学校にまで持っていく必要はない｣
が考えられます。
「小学生に携帯電話なんていらーーん！！！ばかもーーん！！！｣という意見には譲歩しづらいのですが、「学校にまで持っていく必要はない｣という反対意見には譲歩する事ができそうです。
譲歩できそうな内容
「所有するのは良いが、学校にまで持っていく必要はない｣
その理由
・授業の妨げになるなど困った事が起こりうる
次に、譲歩した内容を打ち消します

「学校内では使用しないというルールを作れば良い。｣
譲歩した内容は、「学校内で使われると困る事が起こる｣に集約されるので、「学校内での使用についてのルールがあれば問題ない｣という風に打ち消すことが出来るわけですね。
譲歩と打ち消しを挿入した英文の構成を考えてみましょう。
構成
まず、自分の①意見を言い、②譲歩し、③打ち消し、そのあとに④理由１⑤理由２とし、⑥結論 とします。
①意見 小学生が学校に携帯電話を持っていくのを許されるべきである
②譲歩 学校に携帯電話を持ち込むべきではないという意見もある。困ったこと（授業の妨げ等）が起こりうるからだ。
③打ち消し しかし、それは学校で使用のルールを作れば解決できる
④理由１ 学校の行き帰りが安心なので持たせるべき
⑤理由２ 緊急時の連絡手段として持っておいたほうが良い
⑥結論 小学生が学校に携帯電話を持っていくのを許されるべきである

もし、理由部分を膨らませることが出来ず、字数が足りない！という事態に陥ったら、この「譲歩→打ち消し｣を入れ込むと字数を確保することができます。
ですが、「譲歩｣の内容を適切に「打ち消す｣こと、自分の意見への「理由｣へスムーズに繋がること、に気をつけてください。
