【英検（R）準二級】最低限のライティングを下回った時の点数アップ方法②
英検準二級の英作文を添削して、点数アップの方法を考えてみましょう。
【お題】将来、より多くの外国人が日本を訪れるようになると思うか
みなさんも、文を読みながら、まず「ここが違うと思う｣という所を探してみてください。添削するという行為は、深く英語を考察するという事につながりますので、とても良い勉強になります。

I think more foreigners will visit Japan in the future.
I have two reasons for feeling this way.
First, the Olympics will be held in Japan. Foreigner sight seeing in Japan after they watch the Opympics' game.
Second,travel by air's prices come down. It is easy and low for their to visit Japan.
For these reasons I think more foreigners will visit Japan in the future.

理由２とサポートが重複している印象もありますが、準二級の構成としては十分じゃないかなと思います！
では文法を見ていきましょう
【文法】
①Foreigner sight seeing in Japan after they watch the Opympics' game.
●foreigner は数えられる単語なので単数か複数にします。ここでは複数の方が文脈上自然なので foreigners としましょう
●主節（Foreigner~Japanまでの所）に動詞がありません。「観光をする」と言いたいのであれば go sightseeing / do some sightseeing とすると良いでしょう
●現在形は「習慣や事実」を述べる時制ですので、ここの文脈には合いません。「～観光するでしょう」という未来のニュアンスを will で出すと良いと思います。 after以降の副詞節の部分は現在形のままで大丈夫です（副詞節の中では未来形は現在形で表す、という決まりがあるから）
●オリンピックの試合→opympic games
→Foreigners will do some sightseeing in Japan after they watch opympic games.
② travel by air's prices come down
●飛行機での旅行の値段→航空運賃 でしょうから
travel by air's price→ airfare
●この文も現在時制で表すとニュアンスが変わってしまいます。「最近下がりつつある」という事を言いたいのでしょうからここは進行形で
airfares are coming down
→air fares are coming down these days.
③It is easy and low for their to visit Japan.
●これも現在形より未来形にした方が良いでしょう。未来にはこうなってるだろうな、という話ですので。
● easy and low ですが、この文の真主語は to visit Japanなのでeasy にはつながるけど lowにはつながりません。
〇 to visit Japan is easy.（日本を訪れるのは簡単だ）
✖ to visit Japan is low.（日本を訪れるのは低い）←価格が低いと言いたいのだろうけどこれではその意味にはなりません
● for に続く代名詞は目的格ですので them
→ It will be easy for them to visit Japan.
文法的に訂正した作文

最低限これならいける！と思いますが、文の繋ぎ方や表現を変えると更に安心して合格点に届きます。
得点アップの方法を見てみましょう。
得点アップの方法
① First, the Olympics will be held in Japan.
willで未来の表現が出ていますが、もう２０２０年に東京でオリンピック開催されることになっていますので、willではちょっとニュアンスが違うかな、と思います。
be going to ～する予定である （もうすることが決まっている時に使う）
※中学校でwill=be going to と習いますが高校では二つのニュアンスの違いを勉強します
be scheduled to～ ～する予定である
などとする方が良いでしょう。ついでにthe Tokyo Olympics にして in 2020 って入れておくとスッキリ分かりやすいかな。
→First, the Tokyo Olympics is scheduled to be held in 2020.
②Foreigners will do some sightseeing in Japan after they watch opympic games.
●foreigners より many foreigners とした方が沢山増える感じがでますね。
●I am sure that~ （～と私は確信している）という文言を入れると更に得点アップ。
●「オリンピックを見に訪日する人が増える」という文言も入れたほうが、前の文からの繋がりが良いですね
→ I am sure that many foreigners will visit Japan to watch olympic games and do some sightseeing after they watch the games.
③airfares are coming down these days.
これだけでも十分ですが「なんで航空運賃下がってるっていえるの？」と思われてしまうかもしれませんので

と入れておくのも良いでしょう。

④ It will be easy for them to visit Japan.
●前の文の繋がりから考えて「therefore 故に」を入れると良いでしょう。
●「今と比べて将来の方が」と比較する表現にすると良いと思います。
easy→easier
→Therefore it will be easier for them to visit Japan.
